I absolutely loved the location! I thought that it was incredibly cool to see an old school renovated and turned into a modern hotel. I think that that kind of architecture is very interesting and unique. It’s definitely one of the reasons why I chose to stay at the hotel because I thought it looked so cool in the pictures. It’s very different from any type of hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The inside of the hotel was super clean and modern. I love the fact that there was a bar and restaurant inside the hotel, so I didn’t have to go anywhere for food if I didn’t want to. The staff was amazing, and they texted me two times throughout my stay to check on me and make sure that I don’t need anything, and if I did need anything, they could facilitate that for me. I also thought the housekeeping staff was very kind. The hotel was peaceful, and I really appreciate that because I don’t like a loud hotel. The hotel had a small amount of people - just overall great ambience. They also had a 24 hour shop where I could buy food and drinks, so that was perfect because I love grabbing food items and not leaving my hotel. I enjoyed that, and I would for sure stay here again when I’m back in town. Thanks for everything Slate Denver!

Good location to 16th St Mall and Convention Center, bar and restaurant in lobby, lots of seating and communal areas inside as well as nice area outside, staff were pleasant, well stocked "convenience store" with self check out and a microwave in lobby. Bed was comfortable - not too hard or soft, pillows were plush, blackout curtains were helpful as the sun shot straight into my room in the afternoons, Lime scooters nearly always available, short walk (5-10 mins) to transit lines and to Capital building (10-15 mins). Decor and history of building were pretty neat! Had a beautiful view of the mountains from my room.

It's conveniently located near multiple tourist attractions. Its proximity to the Mint made it especially easy to swing by in the morning for tickets and return later in the day for the tour. The only thing that would have made it better location-wise is if there was a grocery/market closer by. There is a small market within the hotel for necessities and snacks, but obviously, expect hotel pricing. The staff was a pleasure to interact with. I especially appreciated the man responsible for drinks at breakfast. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name, but he was a joy to speak with each morning.

The shared spaces were beautifully appointed. The fireplace was gorgeous, the furnishings were beautiful, and the bar was inviting The building is historic and served as a school for many many many years. It has been beautifully updated and everything was new and clean. The staff was so nice. The manager brought us cookies and ice cream for dessert and the ambiance was very friendly. I had a skirt steak over a Cesar salad that was very tasty in the restaurant.

The history of the location wasn’t something I was aware of at the time of booking. As we walked the halls I became curious. A colleague and I were discussing what we thought it could have been before it became a hotel. One of the staff members heard our conversation and educated us on the history of the school and how it was connected to Molly Brown and suggested other historical locations to visit, which we did and loved! Very good experience and sta.
